Competing against companies from over 65 countries, Audioplay was thrilled to be counted in the top 5 finalists of the global Creative Business Cup competition 2019. Audioplay was awarded the the INVIO Experience Technology Solution Award 2019, which recognises the most innovative new forms of experience technology.

Audioplay CEO & Co-Founder Gemma Pepper travelled to Copenhagen to represent Australia with support from ACMI and QUT Creative Enterprise Australia. Over two days of intense competition a wide range of entrepreneurs and innovators from around the globe pitched their creative businesses to a panel of expert international judges.

“It was wonderful to meet creative entrepreneurs from all over the world and see the innovative products they have created” said Pepper on her return. “Representing Australia and pitching in a global competition like this was quite nerve wracking, but I was thrilled that the judges were so supportive of Audioplay and the experiences we are creating for kids” she added.

Having launched in Jan 2019 Audioplay has quickly attracted international attention. Available on iOS and Android, the Audioplay experience is a bold new digital experience for kids that encourages real world imaginative play. Designed for 6-12 year olds, Audioplay lets kids step into the story and become the character, physically playing out the action as they are guided by rich audio narratives.

Audioplay’s first series, The Turners, is based on Mick Elliott’s book series of the same name. The four-part series is available for download now from Google Play and the App Store.
