AUDIOPLAY LANDS IN DENMARK FOR RESIDENCY AT SOUND HUB DENMARK

Gemma Pepper, the CEO and co-founder of Audioplay has taken up a residency in Struer, the City of Sound this month with her business Audioplay, after securing highly competitive funding support from the Australia Council for the Arts.

Pepper will participate in Sound Hub Denmark’s Sound Tech Accelerator program; a program specifically designed to grow emerging sound-based technologies.

The Sound Tech Accelerator program leverages the high calibre expertise of the Danish sound and acoustics landscape, matchmaking the most promising international start-ups with world leaders in sound, such as Bang & Olufsen and Harman.

Pepper spearheads the innovative children’s audio platform, Audioplay. An entirely new media form that combines elements of podcasts, theatre and audiobooks; encouraging real world physical play for kids ages 6-12 years. Audioplay lets kids step into the story and become the character, physically playing out the action as they are guided by rich audio narratives.

Audioplay will be publishing new experiences later in 2020. Families can try the first experience for free through the Audioplay app, which is now available on Android and iOS devices.

Gemma Pepper is available for interviews, please contact info@audioplay.me
